Welcome to the exciting world of Soci-4330 (Global Community Service/Ghana Field School 2011), an international Field School which combines global service learning with classroom based analysis and critical reflection about the interrelationships among organizations, cultures and Global society. With both a focus on training students to be all-rounded, critically conscious, and globally informed citizens, the course is designed to deepen students’ formal preparation for local and global citizenship and gain practical experience through a field placement, doing service learning with international organization or other community agencies in Ghana.
